Garbage bag rolls are one of the most commonly used plastic products in both residential and commercial settings. The manufacturing of garbage bags involves a detailed and highly controlled process to ensure strength, flexibility, and durability, as these bags are expected to handle a wide range of waste materials. The production starts with the selection of raw materials, most commonly low-density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), or high-density polyethylene (HDPE). These polymers are chosen based on the required strength, flexibility, and transparency of the final product. Often, recycled plastic is also used as part of the raw material mix to reduce costs and promote sustainability. Once the raw plastic granules are prepared, they are fed into an extruder, which is the first major machine in the production process. The extruder consists of a long barrel with a rotating screw inside. As the plastic granules pass through the barrel, they are gradually heated to a molten state. This molten plastic is then forced through a die to form a continuous tube of plastic film. This step is known as the film blowing process. As the plastic exits the die, it is inflated with air to create a bubble. This bubble is carefully controlled in terms of thickness and diameter, and it is cooled using air rings and rollers before being flattened into a double-layered film sheet.
